The Kalachandpur Lake Sewage Treatment Plant is one of Charm Foundation’s largest environmental infrastructure initiatives.
For many years, untreated wastewater from surrounding residential and commercial areas was discharged directly into the lake, causing severe water pollution and affecting the surrounding urban environment.
The deteriorating water quality created challenges including unpleasant odour, environmental degradation, impact on aquatic ecosystems, and increased risks for nearby communities.
To address this issue, Charm Foundation established a comprehensive Sewage Treatment Plant that treats wastewater before it reaches the lake, helping restore water quality and protect this important urban water resource.
